Overview

The Latok I Expedition is a demanding high-altitude mountaineering adventure to the 7,145m summit of Latok I, one of the most formidable and technically challenging peaks of Pakistan’s Karakoram. Located in the Panmah Muztagh, Latok I is renowned for its dramatic rock and ice faces, steep climbing terrain, remote location and highly technical ascent routes. The expedition begins in Skardu before continuing through the remote mountain settlements and valleys toward Askole, Namla and Mango, followed by a challenging approach to Latok I Base Camp. After establishing Base Camp, the team undertakes a carefully planned acclimatization program and prepares for the main climbing phase.
